Mission
Helping Hands Sherwood Food Pantry offers food assistance to those in need in the Sherwood, Oregon community. The programs include a monthly food pantry and a backpack weekend meals program for students signed up by the Sherwood School district.
Sherwood Schools
Families attending the four Sherwood School District elementary schools can sign up for weekend meals by contacting their school counselor. Snacks and ready meals are provided to the Sherwood Middle and High school counseling centers for them to distribute directly.
Volunteer Opportunities
Food box packing is open to community volunteers on the Friday before the monthly food distribution date. The boxes are packed at 6pm at the Sherwood United Methodist Church.
Donations
Food can be donated directly by depositing it into the bins located at the front doors of Sherwood United Methodist Church or by calling 503-625-7975 to schedule a drop off.
Monetary donations are always appreciated by mail or directly through this website.
