Would you like to volunteer to pack food boxes? We pack them on the Friday before the third Saturday of each month. For this month that’s on Friday, September 18th from 6:00-6:30pm at Sherwood United Methodist Church. This is open to the community.
Volunteering
I get off from work at 6:30p.m. and I would not arrive until 6:45p.m. – would that be too late to assist? I have repacked foods with the Oregon Food Bank in Beaverton, and worked several different food banks (sorting, packing, distributing). I’m super sorry that I missed your question. Yes, we usually finish by 6:30pm. We usually get enough volunteers that it goes quickly and leaves us packed for the month.
